The residents of Friedman Place, a nonprofit community of people who are blind, has been exploring neuroaesthetics; how our brains and bodies transform when we participate in the arts. With this in mind, Friedman Place are hosting an exhibition of artworks associated with vision, blindness, or disability. This art show will show work inspired by arts’ impact on human beings, including our mental wellbeing, sense of meaning, social connections, and community.

The fifth Celebrating the Arts at Friedman Place exhibition will be on display at Friedman Place for two weeks, with the Opening on Thursday, May 7 from 3 p.m.-6 p.m. We expect 300+ people will visit the exhibition. A sale of weavings from our studio will also occur on May 7.
