Friedman Place is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit charity founded in 1944 as the Association of Jewish Blind to provide safe and supportive housing to adults who are blind and visually impaired. Prior to 2004, it was the Kagan Home for the Blind on Foster Avenue in Chicago.
