Anxiety and Acting Out Behaviors in Older Adults

In this program, we will identify verbal and nonverbal ways older adults express anxiety. We will discuss how staff can respond to and reduce anxious behaviors. Finally, we will cover the impact of anxiety on our work with older adults.

Gil Medalle is a Registered Nurse with 16 years experience in behavioral and psychiatric nursing. He has worked in hospitals and mental health facilities as a staff unit nurse, admissions coordinator, and a Non-Violent Crisis Intervention instructor.


The training is free to attend and $10 for CEU certificates

CEUs available for social workers and professional counselors
